Winter Solstice comes at me always unexpected as the days shorten and the nights lengthen. Loneliness can overtake me in the darkness, leaving me feeling empty of energy, and I must remind myself to turn the loneliness into one of deep introspection and honor the sacredness of turning inward.

This question seems obvious but not obvious. If someone asks me that question, I say “yes, love is a choice.” Right?

Using labels to classify anyone is very limiting; however, if we have no language to use how will we communicate? (Well, that is until we are all beyond the limitation of using words but that might still be a while off…) For now, the labels that we currently have for the New Children will have to do. Let’s just keep in mind that there is no way on Earth we can use labels to pin them down to being a definitive list of traits (e.g. Indigo/Crystal/Star/Rainbow etc.).

Many people believe that the Old covenant law is still in effect, and is the eternal law of God. Many Christians believe that the law was done away with. Between these two positions much hostility frequently resides, and the controversy is alive in the daily news although it’s not recognized as the underlying cause of conflict.

Keeping the mind, body and spirit balanced is a necessity and is essential to healthy living. If you find that there is an imbalance in any area, rectify it quickly. Many people are over extended in one area and under extended in another. An excess in any one area causes a deficiency in another area. Make sure that you have delegated sufficient time for the growth and development of mind, body, and spirit.

There is no growth without growing pains. There is much pain and suffering going on in the world today. Much of this suffering is due to the karma each of us are here to work out; much of it is due to the corruption, the greed, and the desire to control people that is currently being exhibited by the global banks, and the world governments that they have bought off.

When my much respected business partner, Dominique, claimed that she could see, feel and even interact with Angels, my reaction was to well, laugh! Yes, we were both therapists, at one with our intuition and open to all forms of alternative ideas and concepts, but I operate on a more tangible basis, and I commented that I only see a few feathers flying here and there in the house when I am making the bed.

Hope springs from ambiguity, despair, helplessness and pain. Hope goes beyond brokenness and failure. When you get lost, when life goes wrong and when nothing else goes right, hope appears. Hope goes far beyond the present.

Sometimes God has to allow pressure to touch our lives to separate the precious from the vile! He allows the pressures so that we can activate the faith He placed inside of our hearts! He shows us, as we move triumphantly through the pressures of life, that He is faithful to what He promised – to lead us through triumphal procession in Christ.

So much of the new Age movement is heavily invested in connecting us with the Goddess, The Divine Feminine and the great mysterious power of our feminine energy. I’m not saying that this isn’t a good idea, however too much of a focus on just one aspect without its polar opposite results in an imbalanced perspective. The truth of the situation as we go hurtling towards massive transformation and change on our amazing planet, is that we absolutely do need to recognise and allow for the emergence of the magical feminine energy.

It matters how man presents himself to God. Dressed in humility and reverence is a good starting point. But what about clothing? Is God less pleased with the man who comes wearing blue jeans or with a woman who isn’t wearing a dress? There are rules of men, which relate to ever changing standards, which can’t be substantiated from Scripture, the Bible. We should “dress up” for God, but it ought to be the clothing we wear seven days a week.
