God has released grace upon us so as to help us receive the blessings that He has for us. God has great plans to prosper His children. However, it will require grace for we to access His blessings. The giving grace is key to receiving the blessings God has for us in the kingdom

There are great benefits attached to our salvation in Christ Jesus. If there no benefit attached then Christ won’t have such a huge price. The Scripture testifies to the things that accompany salvation and one of such is that all our sins are forgiven at the instant if our salvation.

God’s desire is for everyone to be saved. He has given us the required grace that could enable everyone from every nation to be saved. However this salvation was made possible by the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ. Salvation is our by the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

How are you for joy? How much joy is there in your life? Do you know you can experience joy no matter what might be going on around you and irrespective of what may be happening within you? Joy is much deeper than pleasure or happiness. Where did I come across this and is it real and is it true? And equally important is it relevant and is it practical in these present times? One of the exciting things about the Word of God is this – you can be at war – you can be going through a very rough patch – through the mill – being ground down – even persecuted – and somehow love, joy, and peace, can still be present. We are speaking of here the fruit of the Holy Spirit – not a reaction to what may or may not be going on in the world around us. It is possible to be serving in the most adverse situations, and still experience something of love, joy and peace.

What are your gifts and what quality of fruit might you be growing and developing in your life? Gifts without character is dangerous. It is like a young man with a fast car, but character without gifts can make us ineffective in the Kingdom of God. Develop your ‘gifts’ – whatever ‘gifts’ the Holy Spirit has given you – and allow the fruit to grow. There is the Peace of a clean heart! Jesus Christ washes away the sin – takes away the sin – and builds a bridge over which we can walk, and then we can enjoy fellowship with God, and fellowship with one another. It is really quite straightforward. It may not appear simple at first sight but as a person is led by the Holy Spirit and has been born again or born from above, that peace starts to grow. That precious fruit develops and matures.

Many seem to think that serving Jesus Christ in the Church of Jesus Christ is dull and boring – never! And you go and serve in His love and the risen and living Jesus equips you and prepares you for whatever confronts you. If it were not for the Love of Jesus Christ and the anointing power of the Holy Spirit I doubt if I would have been brave enough to make these recent visits to Uganda and Kenya. There were some difficult moments in the slums of Kampala and Nairobi and out in the bush where I was teaching at Leaders’ Seminars. Allow God the Holy Spirit to grow that amazing love within your heart and mind and life. You never know where it will lead you and there you can be helpful and useful and fruitful.

How can I be and become more loving, even in business, in my leisure and pleasure hours and most importantly, at home? Verses 22 and 23 of Galatians Chapter 5 must be among the most beautiful words which you could find to read anywhere – listen to them again. Yes, please do take time to read them. Is there anyone who could suggest any improvement? It would be a daring man who would seek to improve upon The Word of God – and only someone daft or wicked would want to change or modify it. Jesus Christ does not just want one or two of the characteristics to grow. Jesus aims to produce all nine characteristics in each of our lives. Again, you will not find this in any other faith. This is another truth that makes the Christian Faith unique – God, the Holy Spirit, growing, producing, fruit in a man – and the fruit comes only from the Holy Spirit.

How many people are searching after and seeking love that is real and lasting? How many would like to find a love that satisfies and does not disappoint? This is an area I have been studying in depth over these past weeks and months and although the answer is quite straightforward and comparatively simple, there are very few who discover and find that satisfaction. What about you? Are you willing to pay the price and make the discovery and enjoy the fruit of the blessing of true dynamic and energising love?
