Christians and Suffering – What Can We Learn From the Fiery Furnace?

Christians suffer too. There is no getting round that. Can you identify with Shadrach, Mesach and Abednego and their time in the fiery furnace? What can we learn through them to help us in the tough times we might be having right now.

Spirit Space Fills In Some Gaps

“Spirit Space” the documentary has just been released and I reviewed the DVD last night. If you have seen “The Secret” then you will have a pretty good feel for this DVD as the format is very similar. On the evolutionary highway, I would have released “Spirit Space” first as it fills in some of the gaps and answers some of the questions left behind by “The Secret.

Living a Spiritual Life

Knowing who God is, His love will satisfy our hearts with the peace that only He can give. Having faith, comes when the will of God is known. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. God’s plan is for all people to come to salvation through Jesus Christ.

It Takes A Lifetime – The Humbling and Never Ending Journey of Inner Work

When we hit hard times, we expect that if we work through them, they will be over and done with. Whether the hard times are the way we feel inside, what we experience in our relationships, in our work or other parts of our daily lives, while they rarely last forever, they are likely to come back again. This article presents a model of personal growth that follows the pathway of a spiral. The more times we “go around,” the more perspective we can gain.

Why Is It We All Tend to Act like We’re “Judge Judies?”

The tendency on the part of human beings to “judge” (i.e., label, criticize, condemn, and so on) plays a significant role in fostering separation among people. For whatever reason, our minds have what appears to be a natural inclination to pass judgment on people, places, situations, etc. While no one wants to be considered judgmental, as this description carries a very negative connotation, the fact is everyone does judge.

The Christ, Who Is He

Who is Christ? Now there is a question that will entertain numerous answers. There are many opinions as to who was, or is Jesus.

Warning – We Are Beginning To Feel Each Other’s Emotions

Someone called me a few days ago. She had come to see Selvi the clairvoyant and I for a reading and so she knows what energy work is all about. Lately she said that when she goes to crowded places she feels very ill or very tired. Or sometimes suffer from headaches. And she doesn’t know why. After asking a few questions about her health and she’s normal, I told her that she was becoming clairsentient. Being clairsentient means that you can feel the vibrations or emotions of another person or place.

Sow the Word Into Your Heart

The Lord Jesus likened the heart of a man to the ground on which a sowed seed. This means that your heart is the soil on which God’s Word must be sown for it to produce results in your life. The same way the soil is programmed to receive seeds from a farmer and produce fruit trees, so also is your heart programmed to receive and multiply what is sown into it.

Carriers of God’s Divine Presence

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:4). Man in all his goodness and kindness is nothing before the Lord (Isaiah 64:6), until he receives this glorious life in him. But you are a partaker of the divine life. The reason you can stand before the Lord unashamed with hands lifted in worship, honor and adoration is that you have His kind of life.

Do Not Limit God

Do you know it is possible to limit God in your life? A lot of people have unconsciously placed limits on what the Lord can do in their lives. For example, there is a young guy who wants to get a job and all he prays is, “Oh Lord, please let my application be accepted in so and so company.” He places so much emphasis in his prayer on his letter of application, thinking that God must do it that way. Unknown to him, he is limiting God, because He fails to realize that God could give him that job any other way, or even a better one.

How to Apprehend Your Promotion

Promotion does not just come because you were tested or tried. Otherwise, every student that sits for examination should be promoted. You are only promoted after you have passed the test or trial. It is the same thing in different areas of life.

Have You Fought a Good Fight?

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). Paul looked back at his life and he confidently asserted to Timothy, “I have fought a good fight!” In one of his letters, he wrote concerning himself “Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one. Thrice was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, thrice I suffered shipwreck.
