And this is wisdom: to know our place, our time, our circumstances, and to use those to the best of our abilities, every day of our lives. Sometimes this will mean we’ll plan; other times we’ll execute… some on which we rest; others on which we act… but the general theme is forward-moving and transformational.

Your attitude can make or break almost any situation in your life. It affects not only your own life but the lives of everyone around you. Do people perk up when you enter a room, or do they sulk away in disgust and disappointment?

Here is a word specifically written to maintain the wholesomeness of the Church of Jesus Christ but the wider society would do well to pay attention to its teaching. It might prevent so much trouble and bother and embarrassment. There is to be no sexual immorality within the Christian Fellowship or in the lives of those connected with the Christian Fellowship. The writer of this letter, and remember he is writing to the first Messianic Jews, refers to what we have not come to and we have not come to Mount Sinai, referring to Moses and the Ten commandments. We have not come to that.

A discussion of “healing” can be laden with confusion and disappointment, since we see almost every day one person who is healed, and another who is not. There is a danger that lurks there creating the assumption that some people are closer to God and therefore get healed while others who are not in God’s favor are bypassed. Those that aren’t brought to health may be viewed as deserving of their troubles.

There is a very surprising reason why we tend to suffer over our mistakes as we do. The real source of our pain in these moments — whether we’re alone or with others — is the fear of being seen as less than we’ve imagined ourselves to be.

Beyond the “first things first” cliche we find a precursor – and all of life for us abounds on its premise. What is it that sets us apart to this life we individually choose? How can we now settle the affairs of our hearts?

During my mid to late thirties I became more curious about the metaphysical world around me. The key to life is to unlock all the treasures that are behind closed doors. No opportunity is truly out of reach unless you determine ahead of time that you cannot access it.
