RIGHTEOUSNESS is not a very popular concept. It has overtones of self-righteousness about it. It has, therefore, in recent times, had a bad rap. It’s a word that represents God’s truth; it is something accurate and right on the mark.

An open heaven is the answer to all human needs. Whatever you need: wealth, power, good health, success, fulfillment or all round blessings, the Lord in heaven can supply them to you. However, the question is, “how do you get the heavens to open and pour out these supplies to you?” This article is aimed at answering this question and more.

One of the most precious gifts you could ever give or receive is Unconditional Love. There are many mis-conceptions about Unconditional Love and what it means or what it is. For a long time I didn’t fully understand what it is, how to give and receive such a life-altering, elusive gift.

During my near-death experience (NDE), it felt as if I were connected to the entire universe and everything contained within it; and it seemed that the cosmos was alive, dynamic, and conscious. I found that every thought, emotion, or action I made while expressing through the physical body had an effect on the Whole. In fact, in that realm of Oneness, it felt as though the whole universe were an extension of me. This realization has, of course, dramatically changed the way I view things. THE BEATITUDES (Matthew 5:3-12) are Jesus’ high-impact proverbs that get his Sermon rolling at full speed right from the start. How the original hearers must have been both encouraged and confused at the same time! Much as we might be.

We need to come to a point where every time we preach the word of God, whether for 5 minutes or 5 hours, we will not finish talking until we have brought men to the point of Calvary. If we give faulty gospel to men, we will raise faulty combats. And because they are faulty foundation, 20 years in church will not make them any different. Intellectualism only obscures the cross to the detriment of the hearers. The preaching of the cross is the point at which authentic power is released in to the life of people; whereas, the devil tries to paint the cross as if it is a problem. Like if someone has a difficult marriage, he wants to settle with his wife and it is proving unsolvable; when we want to counsel the person sometimes we say “that is the cross you have to carry or your wife is your cross”. That is a wrong impression of the cross. The cross is not a problematic marriage. The cross, even though there was a lot of suffering with Jesus, it is not the suffering that is the essence of the cross.

The onus for reconciliation always remains with the person who is aware of the conflict – and both/all parties should be aware. There should hence be a heart in all parties to reconcile, which is to make of the past an exercise in learning and humility – to focus on the log in one’s own eye and not focus on the speck in theirs.

If you do not know the aspects that define the will of God, how can you hope to rightly divine Holy Scriptures? Every teacher, preacher, leader or even layperson has at some time in life applied a wrong meaning to bible text. This aspect of God’s will refers to God’s declared and irresistible voice of decision and command. God’s Authoritative Will can and does override the free will of man.
