How To Understand God – The Penultimate Part Of The Series
In the previous dedications to the Commandments, we investigated the law as depicted in the Old Testament and their apparent existence because of a hard-minded people who refused to learn. The question today is, are we of the same mindset as the people before Jesus’ time on earth. The answer would be yes we are because our leaders have followed the retraction to the times of the law versus the teachings of Jesus. What does obscurity mean in today’s world so we may transform our interpretation? It means allowing freedom to emerge as it was intended to rise and desist with primitive mindsets that restrain others due to ignorance.
John Chapter 3 verse 16 is a well known verse but even in the Church of Jesus Christ, how many know what it really means? I do not think even in my early days that I ever preached on this verse. This is a very different type of study from what I usually write but do check it out for yourself, because wrong believing will lead to wrong behaviour, and dodgy doctrine will affect our deeds. It has been used as ‘a gospel verse’, but is it? Now, please do check all this out. What concludes this rather different study is a very modern translation or paraphrase, which I recently read, giving the sense and the meaning of John Chapter 3 verse 16. “Indeed, in just the same way, God the Father acted in love on another occasion, this time for the whole rebellious human race, by sacrificing his only Son so that all who go on believing and trusting and obeying him, might never be ruined beyond recovery, but go on having everlasting and abundant life.”
How To Understand God – The Final Part Of The SeriesTry as we may to restrict growth we cannot stop it from emerging because our world is too vast for our mere mortal energies to possess the abilities to suppress it. Growth is a blessing from God, GRACE is the essence that commences within, and through experiencing the benefits and feelings, we then emanate towards others without bias, or signs of judgments thus we induce growth.
