Foundations of The Christian Faith – Baptisms
The Christian Faith rest upon the foundation principles of the Doctrine of Jesus Christ. These truths of the Gospel contain the very essence of the Christian experience and lifestyle. It is of the utmost importance that we understand these principles and adhere to them if we name the Name of Christ, because they are the very substance of the Good News which was given to the holy apostles by the Lord Jesus Christ for the building of His church, the body of Christ. Let us now look at the third of these foundational doctrines, the Doctrine of Baptisms. (Each of these six foundational principles of the Doctrine of Christ are found in the Book of Hebrews, chapter six, verses one and two in The Holy Bible). The first thing concerning the Doctrine of Baptisms to take note of is that it is Baptisms, plural, not baptism, singular. Immediately, someone may say, “See, the Bible contradicts itself. For in another passage of Scripture it says that there is one baptism.” But let me assure you that there is no contradiction in the Bible. There is only much misunderstanding concerning how to rightly divide the Word of Truth. (2 Timothy 2:15).
What The Bible Teaches About Physical HealingHealing and health has aways been the Will of Almighty God for His people. From the Old Testament to the New Testament, we can see God’s healing power being released upon humanity, because of God’s awesome love for people and because of their faith in the Almighty God. Healing is God’s Will. God provided healing for the Israelites when they were in the wilderness. He told them that He was Jehovah Rapha, the Lord Who heasl. When they sinned against Him, and serpents came out and began to bite the people, God told Moses to lift up a brazen serpent upon a pole and that all who looked at that serpent upon the pole would be healed and live. This serpent upon the pole was a type of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s Son, Who came in the flesh and paid the price, not just for our sins, but for our healing from sickness and disease as well. You and I have the God-given, blood-brought right to be healed. and live healthy, whole lives, to God’s glory.
One thing common to people who achieve a high level of success is their willingness to take risks. One of my early mentors always posed these two questions when I was considering a risky move. “What is the worst thing that could happen?” and “If that worst thing did happen, what would the damage be?”

The Amazing Randi Proves The Soul Does Not ExistThis article discusses the idea that paranormal events do not exist because they cannot be scientifically proven under scrutiny. In his book “Care of the Soul” Thomas Moore illustrates that doing things with our hands is soul enriching. He explains that hobbies are important because they require our mind and body – creativity is nourishing! Hobbies enhance our lives, but the simple act of doing things for ourselves influences our soul. Much simplicity that once played an important role in our lives has gone by the wayside. Gardening, cooking and creating became lost arts.
Freedom From ResentmentThe more you hang on to resentment, the more you will see yourself as victim. Instead of the perpetrators being punished, you open yourself to physical pain and mental anguish.
Tips for Choosing Christ in Tough TimesThe famous 20th century philosopher and novelist, G.K. Chesterton, once said: “The Christian ideal has not been tried and found wanting. It has been found difficult; and left untried.” While his statement is aimed at those who dismiss Christianity’s merits without having an experienced perspective on its meritorious-ness, it also has an application for the everyday believer. After all, who hasn’t encountered a rough patch in his daily walk and felt like turning to something other than Christ?
Being Angry and “Being Spiritual”In the past, when someone said something to me that I found insulting or disrespectful, I tried to avoid reacting angrily. I told myself I was probably just being thin-skinned, and that the other person probably didn’t intend to hurt me. Besides, I said to myself in “spiritual” jargon, the anger I feel comes from my ego – my identification with my body, my accomplishments, my possessions, and so on. In reality, I am all that is, I am consciousness itself, I am Atman. How could pure spirit take offense at anything? By letting myself get upset, I dishonor my true nature.
