What matters most is that the world has peace; this would facilitate all the other contentious issues that exist in each country, such as animal abuse, intra-family abuse, etc. Try to change these things, step by step…

People who say they love God and live by the “golden rule” don’t always have actions to back it up. What would you do to save the life of a family member? What would you do to save a life of someone who you have never met? Where do you draw the line?

The second chakra is the one located on the sacral just below the navel, and it represents our emotions and sexuality with others. The flow of energy in this chakra can be described as something like the cohesive forces of attraction that governs chemical bonding. The sacral chakra, therefore, is concerned with our concept of attraction and the development of our relationships with ourselves and with other people.

There are many reasons to pray, and prayer should be an important part of every believer’s relationship with Almighty God; it provides a way for God to interact with His children and for His children to interact with Him. Prayer opens the door to the Throne Room of Almighty God and allows Him access to our lives in extraordinary ways.

The second chakra is located at the sacral region just below the navel, and it represents our sexuality and emotionality. This is the chakra that is concerned with how we perceive ourselves in front of others and how we adapt to our surroundings. It is also related to creativity.

Your body should not take the attention away from who you truly are inside, but it should be seen as a visible means of expression of the Spirit and of your talents, abilities and inspiration. All thought and desires alone without your body remain in the invisible realm. But when the body is involved you enjoy the physical manifestation of those desires.

Learning about channeling and using it in your life can be a fantastic way to get to know more about yourself and the spirit realm. Our relationship with spirit can be developed and nurtured to an extent that it transforms our lives and relationships for the better. Through connecting with spirit we’re healed.

Everything we encounter in the culture around us impacts and shapes our understanding of the world. We are constantly exposed to expressions of culture that may or may not reflect our own beliefs and values, or images of who we are. For the Christian, then, what is the challenge? How does Christianity show up in culture?

This man who has been held captive in modern day Iraq and who has been a prisoner in Baghdad, or Babylon, as it was known then, realises that his seventy years of imprisonment are soon to come an end. His people, the nation of Israel had been in exile and captivity during this entire period. Daniel was not much more than a boy when they were taken away in humiliation. Daniel knew what Jeremiah prophesied and this displays a quality of leadership which we so need in these present times. We need leaders who know what God has said in His Word and who will give themselves to prayer.

In the ‘old’ days we had an individual in our village or town who knew the families in the area and served them in times of joy and sorrow. These were the Parish Priests who knew people personally, blessed their babies, officiated their weddings, attended their deaths, and lead their mourning and burial rituals. Today, unless we belong to a faith institution, we no longer have our ‘parish priest’. So who DO we turn to instead? Are Celebrants the new modern day Parish Priests?
