There are many people whom I have talked to who want change, and are ready for it. But I have met very few who are willing to change. Our belief systems are intrinsic to the stability of our ego no matter how difficult or impossible our circumstances see to be.

Is it really possible to communicate with God? You’ve probably been told that it is and perhaps even how to do it. If you’re like me it involved coming to God with a list. Could there be more to it?

Can you hear when you’re talking? Can you hear God when you’re just reading off your list of needs while thinking about what you’re going to do next? Perhaps it’s time to try some silence!

When you choose to worship Him with all of your heart, you are choosing to dwell in that secret place of intimacy and communion with Him. And, as a result of that, you are then abiding under the shadow, protection, and covering of Almighty God in which nothing of evil can penetrate.

Can you turn your mind off to communicate with God? If you’re not careful, your expectations will take over and prevent God from speaking.

Of all the things that would seek to prevent you from communicating with God, perhaps sin is the greatest. Where does it come from? What do you do about it?
