Everyone dreams but most of these dreams are not really significant because the dreamer does not remember any of the details or the emotions of the dream. Any type of vivid dream that is remembered after waking has images or symbolism that can be important to the dreamer after waking. The images that are the most prominent can hold a special message or meaning in the conscious state of mind. These dreams can also be very creative and inspirational.

Simply stated “hell consciousness” is thinking about going to hell most of the time. You are thinking that you would end up in hell and that is consuming your life. Quite often some of the people who have such thoughts have really not done anything wrong. All they probably did was to watch a religious presentation on television that painted a grim picture of hell to the extent that the individual begins to think that he or she would end up in hell. Some of our ancestors may have died because of the fear of hell but we live in an age when hell should be of no consequence because of the different faces of hell. In the age of Religious pluralism we determine where we end up and the scriptures are filled with many passages that could change our hell into heaven.

In Mark 2:1 – 3:6 we read five consecutive stories of Jesus’ conflict with the Pharisees. Along with the throngs of people eager to benefit from his healing ministry, the religious leaders are following Jesus around Galilee.

In Mark 3:1-6 we have the fifth consecutive episode of hostility between Jesus and the Pharisees. After much positive reporting of Jesus’ ministry in chapter 1, Mark’s gospel changes its tone in chapter 2.

Modern medicine is a physical solution to health problems while spiritual healing is a change of thinking, a solution to a faulty belief system. Both need to happen to have complete and permanent healing.

Your belief system is comprised of your own affirming thought patterns. These patterns may or may not be life-affirming. Spiritual healing is about finding the root thought or thoughts that are harmful and correcting the resulting affirmations they represent to life-affirming thought patterns.

Focusing on the world and bodies is meant to be deceptive because it keeps us mindless with the ego by negating our life as the classroom to learn forgiveness in A Course in Miracles (ACIM). We follow the law of division by saying that aspects of our life are different or separate, i.e., special. Mindlessness keeps us from generalizing Course lessons and applying them to all aspects of our life as the ego land of make-believe. When we consider it all as the same ego game, then we also understand there is “no hierarchy of illusions” and “no order of difficulty in miracles” which are major points in the Course.
