Opposition can make me more like Jesus and that may mean we are taken through some of the things Jesus went through. Jesus knew what it was to be lonely, and be misunderstood, and be ridiculed and persecuted, and eventually crucified. But Jesus Christ rose from the dead and Jesus Christ is alive and it is that assurance which has kept me going for over fifty years! If you’re abused and ridiculed and persecuted, because of Jesus Christ, count yourself fortunate. It is the Spirit of God and his glory in you that brought you to the notice of others.
