CANCER: “BIG, HAPPY Changes Are In Store For You!” Your February Reading 2022

Jesus commanded us “do not worry” he didn’t say maybe it isn’t too good or perhaps you shouldn’t do it, he commanded it. Why? Because he knows already just how destructive the practice of worrying is to every area of our lives. Jesus also said “who can add even one day to their life by worrying.” How ironic then that not only is it such a negative force but it serves no useful purpose in our lives either.

I believe that God doesn’t orchestrate the bad things that happen in the world but he does allow them to happen. Often when things go wrong we blame God because he has the power to intervene but doesn’t do so. It’s at these times that we forget about our free will. The good news is that according to scripture “God works for good in all things for those who love him”.

Self denial is weakness, so it is not normal to hate the world. But when you are feeling down and out, it is a good question to ask to start a dialogue with yourself to get yourself out of your funk and sadness ultimately.

Despite the harsh treatment he had received from his brothers Joseph did not retaliate. Instead the scriptures tell us in great detail that he wept privately and later openly because he was so overjoyed to be reunited with them. In fact he accepted that God had allowed the bad stuff to happen to him so that he could be used to save all Egypt and the surrounding area from the consequences of the seven years of famine. Wow! If only we could accept the hard times in our life with the same grace and humility as Joseph did.

The cat is probably (in my humble and biased opinion at least) one of Gods most beautiful creatures. They bring so much joy and love to their human companions in exchange for just a little of the same in return. Julie and myself are blessed to be able to share our home with two of these adorable creations. Lucky and Ken as they are affectionately known have given us so much joy over that last two years and they arrived in our lives just at the right time too.

Merriam-Webster defines a nightmare as 1) a frightening dream that usually awakens the sleeper and 2) something (as an experience, situation, or object) having the monstrous character of a nightmare or producing a feeling of anxiety or terror. Why do people experience negative or unpleasant dreams/nightmares? You could also ask why do people have pleasant and unpleasant experiences?

Seek and you will find, ask and you will receive knock and the door will be opened to you. But what about when it’s the Lord that does the knocking on our door? Are we prepared to listen to what he is saying or do we come over a little deaf unless we are hearing just what we want to hear? The sad truth for some of us is that we are great talkers but pretty crummy at listening.

Do you know as a believer in Christ, you are crowned by the father to lead his people by doing exploits? And if we do know, do we understand the implications?

The principle of Karma is a central part of spiritual philosophies. Karma is a Sanskrit word used in eastern philosophies of Hinduism and Buddhism. In Islam and Christianity different words are used to describe the same principle.

Sometimes it’s easy to forget that evolution is just a theory. It’s discussed as if it’s fact, yet even all these years after Darwin first proposed his hypothesis, that’s all it still is – a hypothesis. Not one jot of evidence has been found which will turn the ludicrous-sounding idea that everything came from nothing into fact. But the annoying thing is that we teach it in our schools without making enough of the point, that it really is just a theory, and not a very good theory at that.

Your chakras are more than whirligigs of energy all over your body. They’re actually a very sophisticated system of exchanging information in the form of energy. You can consciously use your chakras for many purposes… including creating.

The Almighty God in His infinite wisdom gave us marvelous minds to use – to study, learn, observe, analyze, judge and think. Through the Bible, God helps us to develop a godly worldview, the framework and foundation by which we can accurately interpret all that is going on in the world.
