Most times our desires are driven by lusts rather than need. It is for this reason why those things that seem impossible to get, turn to be more desirable than those that are not. Ownership of these desirables is rarely enough, it has to come with the chance to show them off to those who cannot get as we did or to prove to those who have that we are as good, if not better than they are. Understanding this part of who we are is paramount in living a life that isn’t wasteful but rather fruitful. Feeding the spirit within as opposed to gaining ground in our egos allows us to grow in a better state of existence.
