In Mark 1:16-20 Jesus called four fisherman to follow him. In Mark 2:13-14 he issues the same command to Levi, also known as Matthew — “Follow me” — with the same result.

In Mark 2:1-12 we read the account of Jesus’ miraculous healing of a paralytic. This story is fascinating on at least three levels.

The opening chapter of Mark present an incredibly attractive picture of Jesus of Nazareth. Chapter 1 opens with John the Baptizer preparing the people for the coming King (1:2-8).

We serve a God who loves, forgives and nurtures. But in return he asks that we show proper respect. He demands our best and encourages us to have faith. He created us in his image so that his word can be magnified. God states in Isaiah 55:8, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither or your ways are my ways. 55:9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts”. His word does not leave his mouth to come back empty, but will accomplish what he set out to accomplish. What God has in place for you should be looked upon in reverence, so that you can receive the full effect of what God has in store for you. With Gods word we gain respect.

Often times we find ourselves alone and in a place spiritually that we know we should not be. How did we get there? Why? How do we get back? Can we get back? The answer is yes! With God’s help, all things are possible!

Many people ask: Why do I manifest the same problems such as stress, challenging people or circumstances in my life? It is important to seek out whatever the perceived problem or difficulty is trying to teaching you. You must find the gift or lesson in each challenge.

At one time, my normal Saturday morning activity was riding my motorcycle. There is nothing quite like jumping on a cycle and riding through the countryside with the wind blowing past you. I know many won’t want to hear this, but riding without a helmet is one of the most liberating feelings there is.

For many years a lingering question has always bugged me. Who are the Extraterrestrials? Over the years I have had contact with many of them. The lingering problem was I had never seen their faces. The only time I had caught a glimpse of them was during a visit in Sedona Arizona. In this particular instance, I saw them but their heads resembled a horse head and this didn’t seem right.

Many years ago, while visiting Sedona Arizona, I had to opportunity to drive to Prescott, a city just a few miles from the magical Verde Valley. At the time I was experiencing a transformation of my spiritual beliefs and approaching a turning point in my life. I had begun to question many of my previous spiritual and religious beliefs, and I was also contemplating where to spend the rest of my life.

The testimony of Jesus is us ‘declaring’ what Jesus has done and get in agreement with what He said. It is a spirit of prophecy that changes our atmosphere/environment and releases the power of God.

Spiritual healing is about recognizing the underlying thoughts and correcting any that are not producing positive results in your life experience. Modern medicine provides corrective treatment for a physical ailment while spiritual healing provides corrective thoughts or concepts. Both bring the body back into proper balance. Both are needed for a healing that will be complete and long-lasting.
