Time quickly passes. The days roll by. The years fade. All that is left is a record of what was done in the moments we were given. The greatest lesson to be learned from looking at the passing of time is the need to become focused on the future; to seize every moment and circumstance before us.

The idea of reward and punishment may be detrimental for some of the faithful. This may have been inspired by the Greeks or early Christian Theology portraying God as someone who doles out rewards for people who have done good deeds. However, people who have done bad things are certainly punished.

If you’re sold out to God, you want to be used by God, at least in some way. Like Isaiah, we cry out, “Here am I Lord, send me.” Some want foreign long-term missions. Others of us are more home-bodies, but want to serve in some way, either locally, or in short term missions, etc. And, we want to feel like we’re called by God – and sent out by him – so we have the most impact. But why does Jesus say, “Many are called but few are chosen”?

Psychic Attack may manifest in the form of body language, verbal abuse, taunting, unkind thoughts. Exchanging energy in various situations, emotions, experiences, thoughts and with others is a part of the daily experience, a part of the journey.

I am truly convinced that if we believe the Gospel and enjoy Jesus then God will take care of the rest and spiritual growth will happen. Christians put SO much on the things we do for Jesus, when we need to put the emphases on what Jesus did for us. The Gospel.

Light or darkness, which one is your choice? These two choices or forces are constantly in a combat with one another for control over human beings. The good news is that the determining factor is actually the human beings. They choose who has control over them. This post is to help you identify the winning team to vote for.

Do you know how important music is to your connection with angels and Divine love? Do you know how you can use it to increase your vibration to align with them? Music is an important means of communication.

Are we witnessing the dawning of a new age? Are the ancient prophesies such as those made by the Mayans, becoming reality? Is there a spiritual awakening or an increase in the vibrational frequency of the collective unconsciousness? There is ample information, texts and prophesies that document cataclysmic changes occurring to our earth and the human beings that reside here. What are we to believe and what are we to do about it?

Our sense of self, of being individuals carved out from the fabric of life, is only an illusion experienced as unsatisfactory. This illusion is built upon a composite, impermanent and in constant flux, of body-mind operational constituents, totally interconnected with everything else in the universe, operating according to the general principle of cause and effect (Skt. karma).

Enlightenment today is a very famous concept. More and more people in the world are becoming interested in that concept and want to find out what enlightenment entails. When my interest in spirituality started to grow I didn’t really reflect on that word, or had any real interest to “become enlightened”. It was just another popular word that was used. After a while I began to take that word more seriously, reflecting on it and trying to find out what it really is, if such thing even exists.

At the very same time I was taking my vows of obedience, poverty and chastity in a Buddhist monastery in California, the other side of the planet was ravaged by one of the most devastating calamities of recent times. While I was “leaving home” (the direct translation from Chinese to say “being ordained”), more than 200,000 people were also leaving their homes, and lives, when the coasts of Indonesia and neighboring countries were swept by a huge tsunami. In my subconscious, the waves of my vows and those of the ocean mixed together to produce a strong realization of how fragile and unpredictable life is.

Wisdom from God prepares us to live a better life. God’s Word, The Holy Bible is literally filled with His wisdom, His ways of doing things, His answers to the issues of our lives. When the writer of the Book of Proverbs shared with us what his father, King David shared with him, he was giving us a glimpse of where his success came from.
