The Purpose To Life
Throughout our lives we may come to points where we ask why are we here, what are we meant for? We may look this question in the eye, wonder for a bit, and then move on. For to ask, you need to know, how does one go about succeeding at this? Where do you gain your own personal knowledge about your journey here?
Sometimes ‘No’ Is the KnowingYou’ve heard me talk about becoming aware and getting more conscious, about listening to your internal GPS and sensing its guidance – well throughout all of this talk, it has sounded like we’re listening for a direction to take, or an action to do, or a knowing we’ll have. All of these can be seen as ‘nods’ of where to go or what to do – a ‘yes’ if you will, acknowledging your next path. What I haven’t mentioned yet, is that sometimes our knowing comes in the form of a ‘no’, telling us what to stop doing, where to avoid going, what to not experience.
We stand between two poles in our quest for the best of life. First, we’re all pressed, so we need to have ways of existing that deal effectively with pressure. Second, wisdom is known only when we do what we must do, and only that – our attendance to God’s leading; obeying Divine will. These two abovementioned poles carry surf flags, and spiritual safety is known when we live between these flags.
