Paul writes about the “unsearchable riches” we have in Christ Jesus and “unspeakable gifts” which are available to all who are open to receive the blessings of Almighty God.

Frailty And Fragility And Physical Weakness Can Reflect the Strength And Mercy and Power of God!

This is no valley of dry bones. In one sense it is the very opposite and will enrich and encourage and bless the lives of all who grasp these moral and ethical and spiritual truths. It is not fitting that a man should put a beautiful photograph or painting in some tawdry frame, or a priceless jewel in a cardboard box. That would not be appropriate, or would it? Yet, Paul sees that this is precisely what Almighty God has done in Jesus Christ. The only valid explanation is that it is God at work. Paul is writing here to show that what lies behind all this work and ministry and service, which can be demanding and costly, is Almighty God. I have found that so comforting over these weeks and months. We have this treasure and that is Paul’s evaluation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Is it ours?
