It is different with children of God who will claim wellness even though they have not grown in the last ten years. Once one is born again, they are born, what remain to be seen is growth and majority and migration from elementary to more solid stuff. It is sad that many are content with salvation as fire insurance, that is, when one is assuring themselves that they have avoided hell- fire by that decision. Growth is not a choice, it’s the only thing you need in order to enjoy the fullness of the new life in Christ.

Worldly affairs may always intrigue us, but we’re to know where the line’s drawn for engagement. Only the undisciplined soldier – one not adhering to their training, despising the cavalry tradition – takes umbrage with their Commanding Officer. That soldier is the shame of regiment. He had also become a cross-channel swimmer for charity, earning thousands; the beneficiary for others in the infamy of his own misfortune. This genuine hero exemplified the biblical model of greatness.

Faith is…being willing to face your terror, walk through your fear, face your demons. Faith is…trusting that a window will open when all the doors have slammed in your face. Faith is…knowing that the sun will come up tomorrow even after the darkest night of the soul.
