A peaceful existence is what most of us desire yet can this come without faith? To understand this statement in more detail we must revisit those elements that remove peace from our society. Prayer every morning will make the day brighter and give our minds a calmness and clearness to handle the stress of the day. Prayer works.

Sometimes we equate being rich with wickedness, thievery and dishonesty because we have been taught that once you become rich you lose all morality and sense of goodness. Granted there are some who have made it because they were willing to cut corners and are “filthy” rich. I am a firm believer in righteousness even in terms of the acquisition of wealth. We generally see a human being as an individual identity in this society. We always see different individuals with their varying personalities and behave accordingly.

If everything we do is for the love of God, then everything we do turns out better. Without it we are always looking for another substitute for our fear. Without the love of God we think we will be happy when we buy our next pair of shoes or the next electronic gadget; we don’t know which way to turn when the new car lets us down, or our friends do. The love of God is our perfect home. Leaving that behind, forgetting that God is always there waiting for our call, is like embarking on a trip through a stormy desert without a tent.
