LIBRA April 2022. A Month Full of ADRENALINE and New Beginnings Ends with a BANGING Eclipse!

My daughter, two granddaughters, and I pulled out every big stuffed animal from that bin and hugged it. We wanted to get “Poppa” Del the perfect stuffed animal for him to hug when I am away from home. Lambs, pigs, cows, bunnies of all shapes, colors and sizes, and then there was the duck: big, yellow, and very soft and huggable.

Don’t be swayed off of it. Hindsight is 20/20. We often change our regular routines with little concern for our decision. We may take another route to work, or follow a different path on our morning walk. Still, we do not stop and consider the reason behind the change. Why do we do it? Perhaps, there is a reason.

God reminded me of his word in Ephesians 2:6; “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,” (NIV) And as I began to meditate upon this, it became clear that I am not acting like one who is sitting in heavenly realms with Christ. So I asked myself, “What should change in your life if you begin to appropriate what God has said in his word?”

This one thing at a time Spiritual Perception eliminates time, pressure, needs and responsibility. One thing at a time is One thought at a time. The one thing at a time awareness of One omnipresent eliminates the past and the future. The one thing at time awareness of One omniscience power eliminates judgment. The one thing at a time awareness of One omnipotence reveals only Love in operation.

I waved goodbye to Del and two of his children as they headed off on a road trip together. As soon as the car was out of sight, I started my morning run. As I ran I imagined what they would experience during the next two weeks, and I hoped they would remember everything that I had packed for them in the nooks and crannies of the car.

Sure, by the title, this would sound like it is going to be a complex article, but it is not at all. It is the simplest subject in the world. In fact I can say the title of this should have been “Life is activated energy” but consider this, the article would have ended where the title began with all the questions answered, but, not in detail like I am going to do.

The Bible describes pride as sin. Pride goes before destruction (Prov. 16:18), puts one in an undesirable relationship with God (1 Peter 5:5; James 4:6), and will yield a regrettable end (Prov. 29:23). Nebuchadnezzar was judged for his proud spirit (Dan. 4), Haman was beset with pride (Esther 5), and Pharaoh fell because of it. God promises to humble the proud (Matt. 23:12).

There are those times in our lives when we shut our ears, our eyes and our senses to good reason. We create a barrier in our minds for reasons that make perfect logic to us but no sense at all to the world at large. These are difficult times and we turn to miss out on many things, especially those things that we desire because of our insular approach.
