Gautam Buddha, also known as Siddhartha represents awakening and enlightenment. This does not mean he did not laugh at all. He must have laughed as a young price before enlightenment and as a monk after his enlightenment. The state of enlightenment is a state of universal compassion along with bliss. This is the state of Nirvana in which the worldly stress and concerns do not impact an individual. Therefore, such a person can really enjoy his life and laugh over pain and suffering. Buddha lived the life to its full smiling ever. The Book “Siddhartha Smiles” attempts to explain the meaning of smile for an enlightened soul who overcomes stress and pain felt by ordinary mortals. Buddha held that one has to find their own salvation. He said, “Be light unto yourself”.

What we set before us, what we look at, what we behold, and what we meditate upon will determine the presence that is going to be with us. When we set God before our face and we meditate upon his testimonies; then He’s before us and at our right hand.

Everyone dreams but most of these dreams are not really significant because the dreamer does not remember any of the details or the emotions of the dream. Any type of vivid dream that is remembered after waking has images or symbolism that can be important to the dreamer after waking. The images that are the most prominent can hold a special message or meaning in the conscious state of mind. These dreams can also be very creative and inspirational.

Simply stated “hell consciousness” is thinking about going to hell most of the time. You are thinking that you would end up in hell and that is consuming your life. Quite often some of the people who have such thoughts have really not done anything wrong. All they probably did was to watch a religious presentation on television that painted a grim picture of hell to the extent that the individual begins to think that he or she would end up in hell. Some of our ancestors may have died because of the fear of hell but we live in an age when hell should be of no consequence because of the different faces of hell. In the age of Religious pluralism we determine where we end up and the scriptures are filled with many passages that could change our hell into heaven.

In Mark 3:1-6 we have the fifth consecutive episode of hostility between Jesus and the Pharisees. After much positive reporting of Jesus’ ministry in chapter 1, Mark’s gospel changes its tone in chapter 2.

The essence in all beings is a spark of the Divine and so, it is the same in all. It is not identified with any nation, race or religion. Thus, it is anonymous, like a tree in a forest. The awareness of this fact brings in universal love in human beings.

Modern medicine is a physical solution to health problems while spiritual healing is a change of thinking, a solution to a faulty belief system. Both need to happen to have complete and permanent healing.
