As a child I was raped and molested by more than one man. Feeling powerless without a voice. This was during a era of time when sex was a hush hush word. Females that were raped or sexually abused in the 60’s and 70’s and word got out were said to be fast by the old folks. Causing a child to pin pain in their minds and heart redirecting their whole future. My life was full of hurt to the very core. I am not victim any more but victorious in Christ Jesus.

Imagine for a moment that your heart is nothing more than a bouquet of flowers. Each one is planted and replaceable. I say this because as you become comfortable giving of yourself, those on the side of Light will replenish you. You will get back by the end of your physical existence what you put forth.

The color of your life truly depends on what you desire from within. From spirit, we see all people in equal tones. It makes no difference to us which corner of the earth you live in, nor which religious background you may have started off with. All things lead to one escalated, Heavenly body. There are some things that can be relied upon to never change, ever. The LORD, the God and Origin of all creation, has been intimately involved in the creative works of history, from beginning to end – as if time could be used as a worthy descriptor of history, a.k.a., ‘his story’. Nothing happens without God’s say-so. As far as we’re all concerned, God’s acts will continue to endure (Psalm 135:13).

The way millions upon millions, in fact more likely billions, picture God isn’t really very different from the king the Little Prince encounters on the first planet he visits. If I had to sit on a throne all day-and for all eternity, at that!-I’d be bored out of my mind.Always superior to everyone, forever trying to control how things go but never succeeding because there’s a big mess here on Earth, it would have to be an awfully lonely and discouraging job to be God.

Seasonal changes can have a huge impact on your attitudes. This should be a time of joy and positive memories of years gone by. It is imperative that you retain your focus on those, instead of on what you feel you may have lost.

What pops into your mind when you think of Christmas? Colored lights, tinsel, festive decorations? Familiar music, parties, family gatherings? Joy, the promise of a Savior, God with us? How about death, loss, and grief? This isn’t the cheeriest of holiday greetings. With the advent of December comes the busy holiday season and for many it is not an easy time because there is the potential to feel lonely and depressed. Even for those who are caught up in the spirit of the holidays, when January comes with all the bills, many of them too can easily find themselves in despair. There are some things that we are taught to memorize when we are young although we didn’t understand their full meaning at the time. One of these things for me was the answer to the Baltimore Catechism question “What is Man?” Although I was only seven years old at the time, that answer began to form my concept of What Man (Human, Male and Female) is. It is a concept that remains grounded in the short Catechism answer some seventy years later. But my understanding of each part of the answer has deepened and grown as I matured intellectually and spiritually.
