Motivation Mashup: How to INCREASE Your Confidence

A vision statement offers us a guide for our life. It is a way to measure the choices we make in day to day life and to find out if we’re on track. We can ask ourselves: Does this particular choice fit with my greater vision? A vision is somehow bigger than us. Putting it in writing will greatly increase the chances of it being achieved.

At first this book didn’t seem to speak to me. I thought it was for younger women (Elizabeth Gilbert was in her early 30’s when she wrote it). But as I got further into the Italy section, I realized that her appeal is actually much broader. Gilbert understands and articulates a basic issue that affects many women across cultures and age groups. The issue is that of expectations put on us as women versus our true desires.

It might be a chance meeting like we had today; it could be a formal meditation session, perhaps a hike in the woods, walk on the beach, creating a painting or singing. The act of doing this allows us to step away from our everyday life for a moment and to view things slightly differently. It brings us closer to our center, that place where our true self lives.

The Law of Attraction says “You will attract in like what you send out.” This is very real and you can see examples of this happening in your own life as well as others. Giving and receiving are one in the same. To give is to receive and vice, versa. The art of giving is a surefire way of getting back, what you put into your life.

Wisdom is knowledge applied, so spiritual wisdom is spirituality applied; it is that simple. New Age Spiritual Wisdom is the knowledge of New Age spirituality applied to your everyday physical life.

It has taken me 42 years to arrive at the summit of spiritual awareness: OM. In Eastern Theological Thought, OM is the sound that represents “THAT” which is beyond words. OM represents, “THAT” which is the existential goal and fulfillment of human life and the human experience. This is why I have entitled this article “OM Says It All”. I believe that many gurus from many traditions would agree with me on this fact and conclusion. Let me explain how this is so.
