We are complex beings with many opportunities for growth and change in our lives. Going from one phase of life to another can be painful, as in order to gain something new, something old has to die off. This transition is called “death in life”. It brings a sense of emptiness and despair. But it is there for a reason. Becoming actively involved in our changes makes them into an adventure of discovery and recovery.

God can see the whole picture, so He knows exactly what needs to be done to bring forth His plans for your life. Because of this, He usually goes about doing things in a totally different way than any earthly person would think to do them. Learn to trust Him with your whole heart.

How many of us don’t want to know what our highest purpose is? We all know that, deep down, we have things that we long to do, things that we have unique talents for. And we want to use those talents. When we do this, work ceases to become “work”. It’s suddenly fun, a passion.

Allowing great things into our lives seems difficult sometimes. We look around and see financial issues, loneliness or a life where we feel that we have no power. The following steps for allowing great things are some beginning steps I’ve used to make sweeping changes in my life, effortlessly.

The second aspect of forgiving others is the conditional aspect. Just because we do not hate or resent those that do us, or society wrong, this does not mean that we are to have a normal relationship with them. We do not go fishing with the person who has stolen our car, nor should we vote for any person for political office who has done wrong and has not owned up to the error. How we relate to those who do wrong is conditional.

The uneven journey from birth to death is called life. Life moves on with the help and company of family, relatives and friends. Ups and downs are an integral part of everybody’s life and they continue to come and go, appear and disappear from life’s journey.
