How To Stand Firm For God
Learning to do what is right in this day and age, takes guts. It takes boldness, determination and diligence in order to live right, do right and stand firm for what is right. To say that you are a Bible believing christian, who believes in God, loves Him and believe in the accuracy, truthfulness and authority of the Scriptures, may put you at odds with many, because the Word of God goes against what some perceive to be normal and up-to-date. Refuse to engage in sexual activity before marriage, and there are those who will call you weird and old-fashioned. Refuse to lie, or even tell the little white lies, and people will call you a fool. Go to church, when you can be at a party or in the movies with friends, and you will be called someone who takes this christian thing too serious. However, if you stand for Christ amidst all of the things people may say against you, when they get in trouble, and need someone to pray for them, guess who they will call for? You.

Shedding Your Religion to Reveal Your BeliefsIt’s the worst kept secret in all of mans’ religions. Your professed “religion” or “denomination” rarely aligns perfectly with your actual spiritual beliefs and practice. Does this make you an unfaithful follower? No! In fact, what we really believe and practice has the potential to reveal our true level of spiritual maturity.
Being surrounded in cosmic non-ness was completely comfortable, reassuring, embracing, even inviting. Within the confines of time and space as we know them, non-ness can be terrifying, or abstract at best, unless you’re a physicist. Outside of that confinement of time and space, I discovered none-ness as completely natural. No questions, no suspicions, no fears or discomfort, just “none-ness.”
This Town’s More Than Big Enough for the Both of UsWARNING: Christian content… Advocacy not only heals our predilection for envy, it promotes healing of the situation, and it encourages the other person. It’s the act of pleading or arguing passionately for something; it’s being virulent in support and not taking a backward step.

A Life of PrayerEverything you do in life should begin on your knees. No matter that a Roman guard was in the room, perhaps even chained to the prisoner; no matter whether the guard was scoffer or brother. Paul was on his knees.
Worshiping the Power Behind the SunThanks to NASA, the first decade of the 21st Century engineered terrific advances in humankind’s knowledge of the sun, morphing our fascination of it. From the 3-dimensional images taken there is a greater appreciation of this enormously powerful body, including eruptive prominences that make our volcanoes distinctly ordinary in comparison. But it’s the God BEHIND the sun that deserves our greatest thanks and admiration.
Spirituality MythsWe live in an era in which misinformation travels around the world before truth has an opportunity to be determined. Prior to the advent of the Internet and instant communication among the masses simultaneously (Face Book, Twitter, etc.), people checked and rechecked facts before disseminating information. Given this fact it is important for each person to distinguish truth from misinformation, because if not, those who do not check will fall for anything and everything.
What Does The Bible Teach About A Place Called Hell?Death, in some people’s opinion, means a cessation of life. In other words, when you are dead, you are done. This is not true according to the teachings of the Bible. Nor is the teaching of reincarnation. When a person dies, they do not come back here as a dog, cow or something else, or somebody else for that matter. I know that there are religions which teach these things. However, the Bible says otherwise. Is there life after death according to the Sacred Scriptures? Yes there is. Man is created by Almighty God. We actually are spirit beings, living in bodies of flesh, possessing souls. And when the physical body dies, the real us, the inward man,our spirits and souls live on. A spirit can never cease to exist. We will live forever. Where we will live is another subject, but that is entirely up to the individual. By this I mean, man has a choice as to where he or she will spend eternity. It is not up to God. It is up to you.
