Jesus is so much more than a few paragraphs can capture so to briefly answer the question, I want to look a two verses from the Bible. One has to do with his birth, and one with his death.

The power of prayer is there for those that are willing to actually engage in praying. All the books, teachings, exhortations on prayer will not make a difference to you if you are not willing to put in the minutes or hours depending on how much time you spend with God. Busyness is the number one enemy to prayer and prayerlessnes kills a people who will not prioritise.

How can we be truly satisfied in these present days when we are being told to buy and buy and when so much advertising gives everyone the impression that if they do not have such and such a product life can not be so very good? Is it not amazing the way these salesmen on television channels seek to convince you that the next item is a must have? Only God can fully satisfy the human heart. I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation. Why do not more people want to know this amazing secret? If Jesus was sitting next to you today and praying for you, what do you think He might be saying? What words would you hear?

Although God has more characteristics than we will ever be able to comprehend, there are some very specific and important characteristics that we must understand if we are going to have a relationship with Him. The two that I am going to discuss on this page, I think, are two of the most important because if we fail to understand or believe these characteristics then none of the others really matter. Creator is the first characteristic that I like to talk about when discussing “Who is God?”

Over these past three or four years, how many bankers and how many from the financial and economic and business world would have been willing to lay themselves before an all seeing God and invite Him to come and take a close look? He sees everything anyway and that is what so many just do not believe or realise. It is indeed a salutary thought and it is true!

Truth becomes humility when we exemplify acknowledgment, and this really does need to infiltrate our deeper lives. For a moment’s embarrassment or shame we shake off the shackles of guilt in a godly sleight of hand.

Who wants to hold onto negativity? Do any of the people you know who are always negative seem happy? My thought on this is simply to add to the process of your personal growth.
