One of the number one questions for many astrologers is when the person will meet their soul mate? The type of astrology I practice is karmic astrology, also known as evolutionary astrology, and it is not fatalistic. Although I can accurately predict trends in a person’s life based on the position of the planets, I cannot accurately predict absolutes on a regular basis. I also do not believe that any astrologer can, although sometimes it is possible to really “hit the nail on the head” with one’s predictions.

I find it particularly contradictory when Christians are mean and cruel. They have forgotten what matters most to God. Good for you! that you only listen to Christian music, congratulations! because you’ve read the Bible from cover to cover and can recite all the names of the books, best wishes! because you never wear make-up, jewelry or pants, and well done! because you only eat herbs. None of that is important to God because it’s all on the outside. It’s all a show for others to see.

There is no greater joy than experiencing the humanity in all its depth. In Buddhism this depth is called Buddha nature. Understanding, glimpsing and cultivating Buddha nature enlightens our view of who we truly are and allows us to truly empathize with other.

Wars don’t only take place on the physical plane. More often than not, they start on the emotional level, which leads to much planning and scheming on the intellectual plane and finally they work themselves out on the physical plane. Today there is a massive splurge of antagonistic forces.

Why we are so apt at chasing the fleeting wind is a mystery known only to God. We do so because we like to, I suppose. But with our 20/20 hindsight engaged we can readily see what we’re doing. Forcing the pace is getting us worse than nowhere.

This story illustrates the essence of the yogic process, the process of the ego giving itself to the inner light of the Divine in the heart. This story is an illustration of how this process is often meandering.
