When speaking and writing about true spirituality we have to use some of the big words at times and I do not mean words that are difficult to understand! These big words include passion, and persistence, and boldness, and contrition, and repentance, and sometimes desperation, but with that sense of encouragement and degree of courage When we do not feel like praying that can be the very time when we need to pray, and when we do not feel like reading the Word of God that is usually when we need it most of all, and that can also be when God has something to say to us or to reveal to us, and there is an enemy who does not want us to discover these revelations. It is seldom good to rely upon our feelings. Feelings are fragile.
