The job at hand still lies with each of us and as a collective we will ultimately continue to be responsible for the direction we take and the healing that is required bringing about the next level of change.

This condensing of time and the 2012 culmination of a higher consciousness was also shared by Terence McKenna. In the 1970’s McKenna and his brother Dennis came up with the Timewave Zero theory decades before the Maya calender was the least bit understood.

Hinduism and Buddhism suggest that our souls will pass through many incarnations suffering for all our misdeeds until finally they realize the pure state of Nirvana and ultimate non-existence or reabsorption into Brahma. Again, the belief in reincarnation enforces moral order. The form taken by each earthly sojourn depends upon our behaviour and moral character in a previous life.

Tragic and heartbreaking situations can occur in life at any moment and test the courage of even the strongest individuals. All conflicts we experience in our lives today have their origin in the comparison of spiritual beliefs. All questioning has an essentially spiritual core, and the very act launches each individual’s “quest.” Today, our questions reflect a deep insecurity about who and what we are. They call upon us to become as the Aboriginal – to enter into a constant state of spiritual awareness.
