Several chaplaincy programs that serve Law Enforcement are considered to be interfaith organizations because the chaplains will have to know how to speak to people of all faiths during the course of their service. For such agencies, a prospective chaplain has to search his or her heart to discover whether or not they are a good match for such an environment. You might ask yourself, am I comfortable talking to and comforting someone who does not share my faith of convictions?

We are all part of the M ind of God. Our mind has three function: conscious, subconscious and subconscious. We need to marry our conscious and subconscious for a happy healthy life. We use our super conscious to understand God better.

Life can be very confusing at times because we live in a multi-dimensional world. Even we ourselves have many dimensions to our own individuality.

Part of us craves the solitude, the peace, the symmetry and beauty and organic nature of nature itself, of the mountaintop. But the fact is that the grocery store, the gas station, the experience of interpersonal relations – loving each other – in essence, the community that we also want, need and desire to be a part of are all to be found in the village.

When we look at many of the great rag to riches stories that are out there we realize that some people who begin with apparent lack refuse to allow their external circumstances to limit them, they allow their internal fortitude and a dream to drive them, and these people realize that ‘nobody has nothing.’ Where ever it is your starting from, however dyer your situation may appear I encourage you with all my heart fight to use it to contribute to the human race, use it to better your position, use it be fruitful and multiply to subdue the earth. We live in a world of abundance. God has designed it so.

When I am present, I am not reliving some challenge that happened an hour ago, or yesterday, or last week. Nor am I borrowing trouble from the future that does not yet exist. Instead, I am present, experiencing what is before me to experience.

Q: What is spiritual experience? Is spiritual experience God? Each traveler is a universe with many levels.

Talking about spiritual principles isn’t enough. We need to take action.

We live in our mind with all its limitations, ideas and thoughts and most of us feel very comfortable there. Some of us live with a brief glimpse of our spirit, but many of us never see it at all. Knowing our spirit and blending it with our mind opens many possibilities in life.

Perception or truth, which dominates your reality more strongly, which is more present in how you relate to the world and even yourself? We can all exist in both or more heavily in one or the other. If we fall too heavily on our own perceptions, we become clouded, our judgment is altered, and our emotions are presented in a way that is further from the truth of what is real.

Life is a journey and I’d be the last person to pretend that I’ve arrived, but I do believe in destiny, and the word destiny has within its very essence the concept of destination. As humans if we are to operate at optimum our souls need a vision for which we can aim. A purpose to live for day by day. Scripture tells us that for lack of vision the people cast of restraint and ultimately perish. So I believe that its helpful as individuals to maintain a clear cut vision of our desired haven, so that there is a clear compass north on which to set our course, so that our day by day decisions can be made in its light and summed up by either its contribution too or its subtraction from that vision.
