Victory in the Battle

I love to watch movies that show hand to hand combat such as Braveheart and Lord of the Rings~Trilogy. These truly show what it takes to get the victory. In the Trilogy, Frodo Baggins had to complete his mission in order to destroy evil, his friends also vowed to do their best in fighting off the enemy. Many times it seemed all was hopeless as they were out numbered, but as true men of faith, they kept their eye on the goal which was to overcome the evil and its hold on the world. Christians are in a similar battle today, only theirs is spiritual and they can’t see their opponent. This makes the battle that much more difficult. It’s not out of sight, out of mind. Rather it’s very real and very deadly…unless you know you already have the victory while still in the battle!
