  We had a cardinal that loved to circle the neighborhood singing his beautiful song. His was the loudest song of all the birds and the first bird of the morning. We could hear him as he began in the back yard and circled around to the side, out front, the side and back again.

Because it has both boldness and discernment, faith resembles a beautifully handcrafted sword, the blade of which has been skilfully hardened and tempered. It has the properties of both strength and resilience. This is faith blessed with wisdom.

There is much written about the Melchizedek order, but not much about the Ascended Master himself. The order existed long before Melchizedek took his last ascension having its origins far back in time and space, but he is known as the High Priest of the order. Master Melchizedek took his Ascension several thousand years ago when he was the king of Salem and high Priest of the order.

I was inspired to write here again after my recent review of Robert Augustus Masters’ Spiritual Bypassing: When Spirituality Disconnects Us from What Really Matters. Spiritual Bypassing is about how we tend to use spiritual practice to escape from, rather than confront, our psychological wounds. One thing that particularly struck me in the book was Masters’ statement that, ideally, spiritual practice is about releasing everything in our lives from the “obligation to make us feel better.”

Learning How to Stop Grasping, Growling, and Grieving I enjoy life with an uncompromising ecstasy that bears repeating over and over and over again until I die. [Especially, when I remember to take advantage of living on my capricious terms] I am incomparably passionate about each burning breath of air I inhale. My attitudes, opinions, actions and unfiltered random ideas are not up for discussion.

It is important to become alert to your business, social and personal standards. This can clarify which standards you absorbed from your environment, from the standards you inherited or the ones you brought with you from previous lifetimes. By examining the different vibrations of business, social and personal, you can start to sort these varying standards and qualities within yourself. This can strengthen the way you focus your boundaries and your perspective on life.

When one of the participants asked about the additional information I received during the regression, this is what I shared with them: “Love others fully and with all your heart and do not fear disapproval or rejection. Do not hold back. The more you give the more will be returned to you.” People applauded. People were exhilarated. People were inspired.

God is the last one wanting us swathed with guilt. God knows that guilt serves mostly the devil’s purposes. Guilt and shame can only ever serve God’s purposes in bringing us to a point of repentance – to a change of heart, mind and way. And that can happen instantaneously.

The book of Jonah shows us that God works through people, any race colour or creed can be mightily used of the Lord – willing or not! Jonah was an unwilling vessel, he did not love the people-far from it- and yet The Lord was able to use him mightily and a whole city was saved from destruction. There’s hope for us all.

Religious piety and an authentic spirituality are two very different subjects. An authentic spirituality sees the sacredness of all creation and is empty of our judgmental piety and rigid religious beliefs that too often create conflict with others.
