Society pays a remarkable amount of attention to your physical appearance, but your energy body needs to be refreshed and re-energized too. Your vitality and well-being depend on it! Here are just a few simple ways to eliminate negative energies and stay psychically healthy.

Here in part 2 I deal with the topics of harlotry and adultery. In doing so, I prove that the Biblical issues surrounding marriage are a minefield, even though some, of a Pharisaical persuasion, would say that they are not.

The subjects of marriage, adultery and divorce are as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago, the only difference being that the punishments for adultery and/or a girl not being a virgin when brought to the new husband were punished far more severely than they are today. Harlotry, too, was as common as it is today with places like Athens and Corinth offering temple prostitutes to give their religious ceremonies a certain added attraction so no empty pews there. What, though, are the issues for Born of God Christians today when it comes to virginity, harlotry, marriage, adultery and divorce?

Mark continues his series of five consecutive episodes that demonstrate the growing conflict between Jesus and the religious elite of his day. The Pharisees and the teachers of the law have already expressed their disapproval of Jesus because he claims to have divine authority to forgive sin (Mark 2:1-12) and because he associates with undesirable people such as tax collectors and “sinners” (Mark 2:13-17).

In Mark 1:40-45 we read the account of Jesus’ miraculous healing of a leper. There is only one hero in the book of Mark, and that would be the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Old Testament is a shadow, and a shadow is not the substance, the substance is going to follow. The Old Testament is a shadow of what was to come and that which was to come was Christ. So, everything in the Old Testament should reveal Jesus Christ to us, because it was a shadow of Him.

Praying for a miracle today! That is an often heard/read statement, isn’t it? I have uttered these words (often) myself. I want to offer this thought “Rather than praying today for a miracle, let’s be the miracle in someone’s life!”

When we open the New Testament, we find four books called “gospels” – Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. All four present compelling accounts of the life, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, the long-awaited Jewish Messiah (the Christ) and Son of God.

The baptism of Jesus marked the beginning of his public ministry. After spending 30 years in Nazareth, he goes to the Jordan River to be baptized by John the Baptizer (Mark 1:9).

In Mark 1:21-28 we read a fascinating account of Jesus in the synagogue at Capernaum. On the Sabbath, Jesus and his four recently called disciples (Peter, Andrew, James and John) attend the weekly worship service, as any faithful first century Jew would do.

And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-LORD-Is-My-Banner; Ex 17:15. The word Banner means – something lifted up, standard, signal, signal pole, ensign, banner, sign, sail. This fits right in with flags, banners, and ribbons. When I dance I see myself as raising a standard to praise and worship. God wants told me that, ” if I wanted to make someone hungry I needed to eat in front of them.” In other words if I wanted to make someone hungry for a supernatural relationship like I have with them I should let them see it! Sometimes that means they need to see my joy and love when I dance FOR THE KING!
