John Wesley went into that little meeting house in a back street in London, with his soul frozen with the ice of years, and there was a man speaking on Luther’s preface to the New Testament book of Romans and we read that Wesley’s heart was strangely warmed, and John Wesley came out of the room that night and the ice had melted, and his sins were forgiven and his soul was set free. Would you like that or something like that to happen to you? Something very similar happened to me many years ago and I have shared my testimony to Jesus Christ on various occasions. Should you want to hear something of my testimony and hear of what I have been studying regarding revival over these past two months all you have to do is ask. I would regard it as an honour and a privilege to share what I have learned and gleaned and discovered on the crucially important topic.

Revival and renewal and restoration and spiritual refreshing and dynamic leadership are topics I have been reading about studying over these past weeks and months. These may not be the most popular of subjects to read about and study but they are so relevant and practical and the reality is so greatly needed. Everything appears so lifeless in the areas of spirituality and morality. I remember being taken to see a great heap of bones – of skulls – in Uganda, north west of the capital, Kampala, – just ten miles from where I was to be speaking and teaching. Be encouraged by the Scriptures. Take courage as you read the Word of God.

Since the beginning of time, there seems to be a disconnect between being religious and being a Christian. So many people are so religious, they miss the point of being a Christian. This article looks at being simply being religious over being Christian.

WHENEVER WE ARE BEING TRUE TO OURSELVES, and the moment we find ourselves in, we will find God gives us the grace to do and say what we ordinarily would or could not. But as soon as we get pretentious, self-conscious, or self-absorbed God’s power evaporates and we stumble everywhere.

Proverbs 3:5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding.” If you will meditate on this and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you; you will see something here that you will miss in the natural. Do you know what it is?

Are you looking for Revival? Are you praying for true genuine spiritual Revival? Many of us have been praying along these lines and awaiting that reviving refreshing outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We witnessed the reality of it in the 1960’s and 1970’s and there was a spiritual excitement and anticipation. It was real. It was a privilege and a joy to have been part of what Almighty God did in these days. For Revival to be real and genuine and for the consequences to last that Revival must have the ingredients of Pentecost. It is Jesus Christ who pours out the Holy Spirit and who revives an individual spiritually and it is Jesus Christ the Son of God who moves and touches and gives real spiritual dynamic life to a community or nation.

A lot of men search their happiness at the realization of their desires. The ego’s wishes are endless, and trying continuously satisfying these desires of the ego makes the human an insatiable monster who thinks nothing except his own self. The perpetual serenity of the human is at being subject to his Creator’s wills. These are all 110 items as cumulative. Those conforming these rules encounter beneficences always, but those conforming their own ego’s wills meet ever with troubles.

As long as have a physical form and exist on this physical plane and required to act, we cannot but think. In creating, shaping and interpreting these thoughts, the ego finds it existence. So what could be more practical and advantageous for the spiritually inclined as compared to working through a lifetime trying to get rid of Ego? Read on..
