Spiritual strength and understanding comes from God but in order that we are ready to kindle his spirit within us and prepare for him to give us what we have asked for, there are a few necessary steps we must follow to fulfill this. Telling the truth We cannot come to God with lies. God sees our hearts and our minds and knows our thoughts, be they good or evil.

Fighting physically has been inherent in animal makeup forever. It’s only humans that fight mentally, especially internally with themselves. We have found that whilst learning balance in asanas (yoga postures) you also gain balance in daily life.

We want you to understand that all people are equal. While there might be some who seem to possess special skills or talents; some who might be bigger and stronger, more beautiful or homely, it makes no difference. We hope that all of you will look at each other differently after this message.

With all that we are and all that we have, we are to love God. Being head-over-heels in love, however, is not about the type of girlfriend-boyfriend love of the romance set. It’s effused agape-styled love of the deepest commitment.

I recently read an article by James Martin, a nationally known Jesuit priest, who spoke to the popular phrase “I’m spiritual, just not religious” and explained that this kind of thinking could mean that being religious is about “abiding by arcane rules and hidebound dogmas.” He suggested that people who say they’re spiritual, not religious, might not want to be accountable to a community because “there’s no one to suggest when you might be off track.” Does he have a point?

‘All things are connected’ and ‘In man are all things hidden,’ these holy maxims are also a literal code. They were intended to allude to the general schemata of the human body and the senses are also attributes to the pillars of creation.

I used to keep a little spaniel. He was my good friend. Back then I had a large property in the country near the village, fenced around with a gray, plaster wall eight feet high that extended to the village fortifications. My curious, little dog used to hunt small animals and sniff excitedly along the perimeter of the wall.

We should be eternally grateful to God for giving mankind a written plan of His expectations for mankind and providing the gift of salvation as assurance in our final destiny (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). We need to accept the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God and apply its instructions to our lives daily.
