Little attention is given to the five precepts in Reiki teachings. Yet, practicing these precepts alone, will yield tremendous peace, harmony and healing. Their message is simple in its beauty. No past, no future, no thinking about present.
Keeper Of The KeySheer panic grips her. Wiles have been perpetrated. Subtle breezes lift strands of her hair. They wrap around her neck, as if attempting to choke out any sound, any melody. Her lips part only to find silence. Velvet eyes set within a pale, soft face, like deep pools were known to flash green and blue sparks of internal praise. Now listless and quiet, they reflect only the loss of joy. Little foxes, they came and stole her song…

What Can We Learn From Life’s Little Lessons?I am reminded of something that happened to my husband and I several years ago. I have to laugh to myself when I visualize the whole scenario of events, but I also am reminded of the life’s lesson and what we learned as a result of it. Life offers us many chances to learn from the lessons that it challenges us with at the time. Not only do they provide us with memories, but the chance to see a higher power at work in our lives. I never took the time to actually think about this memory in this way, but God has brought it to my mind as a reminder that He is always in control and He cares for us, even while we are still sinners. Are you teachable to the lessons that life offers you?

Introduction To Jewish Mysticism And KabbalahWhen non-Jews ask about Judaism, they commonly ask questions like: What is the nature of God? Do you believe in heaven and hell? What happens to us after death? The answers to questions like these characterize most religions. While Jewish law (Talmud) focuses on what it is God wants from man, the area of Judaism and Jewish thought that discusses these issues falls under the realm of Jewish mysticism and the Kabbalah. Kabbalah is the name applied to the whole range of Jewish mystical activity.
Spiritual Detachment And Presidential PoliticsCaught between the desire for detachment and political involvement, petard or lesson?
Are Christians Going To Heaven?I ask this question because most of those that belong to the Cainite-Judeo-Christian Religion think that they are going to heaven to: ‘be with The Lord’ and to sit at His feet for all eternity. The thing is, though, is this true and more importantly is it Scriptural? Does it actually say, in The Holy Scriptures, that Christians are going to heaven or is this just another of their puerile hand-me-down myths?
