I love this quote – and loved it when I read about St. Theresa referring to herself and her work as: “God’s Pencil”. What a beautiful way to put ‘it’ in terms of having your life – and all it’s experiences – be utilized for a greater good. You know it’s interesting when people ask me about the deep transformative work that I do with creative female entrepreneurs to help them morph into their Best Selves in business and in life – – and people ask me – “How did you get into this work?”

The comfort zone starts as a safe place in which to live, but soon becomes a prison. Why this is so is because as we dwell within its walls we are not growing and expanding which is the natural pull of life. In this article, I challenge the reader to look at how they may have settled in the comfort zone in their life and allowed it to control them.

Every genuine son of God must pass through sufferings, trials and temptations. If it is inevitable, then God must have prepared a way of escape and how we should live in times of trouble, persecution and trials. When we suffer for righteousness and Christ’s sake, we should count it as joy because we partake in Christ’s agony so that we may share in His eternal glory. Do you experience joy when you pray? The Bible says to rejoice in the Lord and pray. Philippians 4:4-7 is the classic passage on this. That passage and others tell us that prayer and joy go together in at least three ways.

Keeping God’s word in your mouth brings success because faith comes by hearing. And faith is the substance of things hoped for.
