It is hard for some people to accept other people especially if they are different from themselves. They might judge them because of the color of their skin, their religious preferences, the way that they look or walk, or simply their lifestyle but this is not the right thing to do because they are not God Almighty and they did not create anything.

Epiphanies about the nature of reality can come along at any time, even while sitting in the dentist’s chair. It was an innocent Calder-esque mobile floating above, whose intended function — no doubt — was to soothe nervous patients. But it prompted a stream of consciousness that reminds us that the physical world is not quite as solid as we once believed.

Having a child-like faith. What is Faith? Faith is the evidence of things not seen, yet believed. Faith is trusting with such assurance that your request will be fulfilled. It’s feeling with a robust belief that your desire will manifest to you.

Self-Acceptance is part of the journey. So how do you accept you? It requires Soul searching, releasing excuses, releasing pain and sorrow. Trust is a key ingredient to accept you are.

This is a layout of my thoughts about the economic crisis, which has begun as a Greek debt crisis, but seems to be spreading. This is not written from an intellectual distant viewing. It has come, during my meditative attempts to find spiritual meaning and solutions, to what affects me personally, as a citizen in Athens, and affects others around me. After clearing the mind of the preconceptions and ideas I may have had about it, these are some thoughts that came through:

There are many aspersions cast toward the typical Christian and their ‘saltiness’ – or in another terms, their propensity toward hypocrisy (or not). Many of us Christians have come across, at some stage, with some people, as self-righteous and hypocritical, when Jesus’ idea around saltiness refers to the exact opposite.

Every new year, most of us find ourselves gushing about horoscopes, luck and good luck charms. I happen to have been interested and seemingly got into it. When I finally realized that I have spent thousands from my month’s earnings, buying lucky charm bracelets, feng-shui home decorations, I paused and ponder… Is it just pure luck that brings you to dreams to achieve? or is it hard work and entrusting your faith to GOD.
