We, as human beings, are full of complex varicose veined personalities. In order to realize wisdom, we surrender without knowing we have done so, and being able to recognize, to the limitless void.

What are you currently listening to? Would it be the voice of reason, recourse, revenge, residue, recompense, or reverberation? Of the many voices of distraction, conflict and contention within, how do you know what to listen to and what to ignore/delete?

Formidable waves of pleasure filled ecstasy saturate the ether where we are constantly infused. We are incapable of visually perceiving the full faced immense grandeur but can merely experience the backside of its superlative fragrance as it passes by.

That’s simply unrealistic and stupid! There will be occasions when the curious human pleasure seeking nature strays. Is it the end of the world? Nope. Is it the beginning of enlightenment? Yes.

Crisis and challenge occur in each of our lives, and we are forced to figure out solutions to problems that we never wanted to encounter. Problems or challenges push us to new discoveries, and while we’ve heard that a thousand times, we’ve also forgotten it a thousand and one times. Why do we do this, and what can we do to be more optimistic, more quickly?

The ego is a fact of life. People identify with their thoughts, beliefs and perceptions and will staunchly defend their resulting identifications. The core of the ego is attachment, resistance and separation. In the context of organisation development, we have to deal with the ego as it is. The solution to the ego at the organisational level, is facing up to it and developing the organisation in a way that recognises the ego and its downsides. A similar approach works at an individual level.

You start from where you are right now! It is all you have. You may want some “thing” else AND as you long for “it” you only push it away for all you are focusing on is “the lack” of this thing you want. In life there is wellness and the lack of wellness, prosperity and the lack of prosperity, joyfulness and the lack of joyfulness. You get the picture… AND which one are you LOOKING at?

Perception rules – really! “What you perceive to be reality magnifies” and your five senses report back to you what you perceive and believe. This cycle is self-perpetuating because the more you believe the senses the more your perception is grounded in this false belief.

Most everyone is in search of love outside themselves, thinking that if we could only just find that perfect (body, relationship, whatever…you fill in the blank)….but alas, even if it shows up….aaakkk…it’s not good enough. Crap!…and off in search we go…again. Yes, this is the way of the world, but it doesn’t have to be your world.

Life is quite a ride and God knows I’ve analyzed it all to death. It is humbling to then suddenly discover that the analyzing was guaranteeing more of the same because I am the creator and where I place my focus becomes solid. Now as much as I am aware I focus on being loving and compassionate, even when, and especially when, aspects of me pop up that are far less than compassionate.

Life is an adventure which (if you choose) has only one purpose: to Master True Love, which means to remember who you really are, because who you are is true love. True love adores everything about you. It is compassionate, loving and accepting.

Life is indeed an adventure and more and more I’m discovering that the adventure may feel like a Louis and Clark exhibition, going into unchartered territory, but the territory we are traversing isn’t anything external, it is the human heart. That is why it can be so challenging at times because, just like Louis and Clark, we have no maps and no awareness as to what lies ahead except of course, what our intuition shows us. Thus, it behooves us to get familiar with the intuition and that’s quite a task in itself considering the fact that the intellect has ruled the day for centuries.
