Wondering is a magnificently powerful tool. It is a tool far superior to relying upon, or applying brute intellectual exercise to a problem to come up with an answer or solution. In my experience, pondering sometimes works hand in hand with the imagination in ways that the purely intellectual pursuit can not.

Few of us ever question our heritage. We cling to it as the ground of our being. It gives us our identity and we will defend our culture to the death. But what if it were true that our cultural identity has its being at the expense of who we really were?

Resentment, which means “to feel again”, is to have the same negative feelings today toward another as you did yesterday…One of the problems with employing negative emotions is that at any time the person we are employing them against can realize his error and repent of it without us ever knowing it. If a soul has repented and we continue to view them in our mind with yesterday’s eyes we will be guilty of judging them most unfairly.

What’s the bottom line? If you want to make an eternal difference, form the HABIT of focusing on the PROCESS, not the product. Remember, people form habits and habits form futures. Form the habit of focusing on the process and leave the results to God.

Peace manifests, when the incessant inner chatter of the mind slows down. When it appears, anxiety, stress, worries, fear, mental and emotional restlessness, nervousness and impatience disappear.

The New Testament story of Mary and Martha is one that particularly resonates with me. I am continually drawn back to its words and their meaning in my life. Although this story is over 2,000 years old, the story is clearly applicable and relevant to our modern world and reflects the inner struggle that many of us face to find balance between “being” and “doing”.

It is just so true and at times, uncomfortably and challengingly true, but some people you can never please no matter how hard you try. This is something we have to come to terms with as early on as possible. What is wisdom? Doing what God wants YOU to do, and saying what God wants YOU to say. For some it will mean parties and wine – for others it might mean the opposite. The important lesson here is that we carry out our ministry in the way our gracious loving God calls us, and when you come across people with a different ministry from you, encourage them.

At some stage we think about our life. When we were children life was different and we are often found saying, “Those were the days.” How life changes. When we grow older, rather than looking forward to a future, most of us are looking back, maybe in hope of a future.

When you have been asking for something and doing all that you feel you can do to bring it to fruition, there comes a time when “Letting Go” is the next and final action to take. Trust your Intuition to bring you the very miracle that you seek in amazing ways!

Considering that indoor restrooms are ‘common place” in our society today, what could possibly be fascinating about in-door plumbing? Well, if I was speaking about the plumbing in our homes, I’d agree with you; nothing fascinating about that. However, I’m speaking about God’s in-door plumbing. Now THAT’s something to rejoice about.

Purpose is not something that we figure out. It’s something that must be revealed to us through a personal relationship with God.

Several months after my puppy dog Grace had been weaned, my children and I took her back to speak with the breeder and to visit her mother Sweet Pea. My dog was so excited to see her mother. She jumped all over her and licked her and did whatever she could to get her attention.
