There is a sentence which has been in my foundation for over 50 years and it has been the influencing and motivating factor in so much of my life, and I would not want to change it in any way whatsoever. The common conception is that parents are supposed to take care of their kids but in reality it doesn’t really happen that way. In the bible there are instances where parents failed to take good care of their kids like for an example in the old testament taken from 2 Kings 21:6. King Manasseh offered his son in an occult worship by burning him alive.

Sexual abuse is always a tragedy and along with it brings despair and lifelong pain and hurt. But hope is not lost when Jesus is invited to be a part of the healing process. First, He can help the abused person to forgive the person who violated him or her.
