“Seek and you shall find; ask, and you shall receive an answer; knock, and the door will be opened to you.” So we are told by the greatest of all authorities. But as I was considering this I asked myself how does this apply to the life journey of a creative writer? What an intriguing question. This was the first time I’d ever looked at the writing journey in these terms: have we asked, and have we knocked at the door?

The structure of this psalm is a simple one. Verses 1-2 focus on proclaiming conviction to God. Verses 3-4 lament the circumstance of contempt in the midst of the proud. There are three powerful truths to be found in Psalm 123 – a Psalm of Ascents.

Without stating the obvious, asking for what we need gives us a better chance of receiving than not doing so. Things get a little complicated when other factors cloud our thoughts such as pride, making it difficult for us to seek the help that we need. Asking to receive can be made a lot easier when we understand the full implications of our actions and the other benefits which this offers that are not so apparent.

Although it is in our interest to be repentant this does not mean that placing a personal burden on ourselves would solve the problem. God would accept our repentance more when we decide to live a righteous life after we have repented for our sins.

Life can be looked at like a fine wine. It begins with a concept, but then it takes years to come to fruition. As you mature, the lessons of what you may or may not have done right will continue to surface. There will be some days when you wish to be sweeter and others when life may be better dry. Either way, you are responsible for the outcome.

You might ask where civilization can improve. The world is full of unhappy, misguided beings. Those who feel oppressed are the same ones who try to destroy the path towards happiness; the path that will give them what they don’t want. It requires nothing more then a sense of true awareness and belief in a loving God; not one who is portrayed as being unfair or vengeful. Life is all about acceptance and not separatism.

All over the Bible, it says to a certain extent that God gave us free will and that God is as objective as existence when it comes to our destinies. Sure, it is easy to say that, but in a pinch or a bad situation that we make for ourselves, is it easy to practice that? Well, this article will give at least a little understanding on that subject.

Though few people appear to be noticing, modern cosmology has devised a set of theories whose chief purpose is to eliminate God or Mind as a cause to the cosmos. The question is whether it is proper for science to devise theories just to eliminate God, or whether science should instead develop theories to account for the facts, even if those theories integrate mind, God, and spirit into a new form of science.
