Start your spiritual journey knowing that you are indeed on a journey. This is not a short jaunt but an experience of very many steps, small steps.

Your spiritual journey is personal to you. No one can tell you exactly what to expect or how to go about taking the steps to lead you where you think you want to go.

As you begin (or continue along) your spiritual journey you will encounter obstacles. Before forging ahead take time to decide whether or not you want to make this journey so badly you will do whatever it takes to keep going: to go over, under, around or through any and all obstacles that appear to block your spiritual discovery.

It is the Spirit of God who leads us to a personal, profound understanding of his written word or the Bible. How he does this is the topic of this article.

We all want to feel better about our lives. Only change will make that happen if you feel stuck, depressed or unfulfilled. Making these changes requires you to stand up for yourself, but to do so knowing that God and Spirit are at your side.

More and more people are asking how they can lead a spiritual life. Some think it is the same or similar to living a religious life. This article makes clear how we can start leading and continue leading a spiritual life. It may not have much to do with religion after all.

No one can look at themselves in the mirror and claim perfection. This place is reserved for our Lord and savior Jesus Christ and even he said the only one that is good is God. However God has granted us the right to be able to make a righteous judgment on each other based on what we have learned from him.

Those who say, ‘I love God,’ and hate their brothers and sisters, are liars; for those who do not love a brother or sister whom they have seen, cannot love God whom they have not seen. ~1 John 4:20 (NRSV). Those who claim they love God, yet via their actions they hate anything related intrinsically to the people right before them, are proven liars in this passage.

It is Spirit’s evaluation that when we learn to feel blessed, then many more blessings will come to you. This is a in part the way the universe treats all things. When you do good things, then good things come. Conversely, the opposite is true. Find out more in this article.

The best way to tell God that you love him is by doing the things that please Him, obeying His commands, reading His word, talking to others about Him, better yet, being a living testimony of His presence in your life. For many people this is an impossible proposition, in some cases because they do not know God thus they cannot have the ability to express what they know not, in other cases it is simply a matter of carnality, of fear, or ignorance.
