A concise overview of the path of yoga, based on the teachings of Patanjali, an enlightened sage of India. God is a mighty and indescribable God that operates with simple economic principles to govern His creatures and He expects that we adhere to these principles that we may prosper but many of us as Christians fail to follow these principles and we do not understand why certain things go wrong in our lives. God’s principles of economics are so simple, clear and straight forward. They are principles of success and wealth, a give and take principle of success. This simple principle of economics has been over looked by so many of us.

The word of that which can be called the soul has gathered conflicted confusion around itself as the global awareness of its parallel descriptive levels in other than Christian religions have emerged through variety of different types of media, with the acceptance of modern humanism. But as I have investigated this matter, I have found a common ground for the metaphysical considerations concerning the soul that even the atheists, and Spartans of human experience can reason with.

We change physically, spiritually and emotionally everyday. If we are not actively trying to move forward we are gradually sliding backwards. Like everything else in life we can approach change with faith or fear. Faith is easier.

It might seem strange to say that you need a key for an open door, but you do, because there is an open door for you through which you can progress without resistance along the path of your true destiny, but it remains locked out of your awareness until you find the key.

Much of North American Christianity is like this messed up sandwich: we may have the right ingredients, but the structure is incorrect. All the ingredients piled on a plate does not make a sandwich. Like wise, a bunch of spiritual gifts piled together does not make a church.

We are each born with a purpose to fulfill during our lifetimes. It is something that we tend to have a natural attraction and aptitude for. When we do that thing, time stands still. We do it because we love it, and we love it as we do it. It is our passion, our life’s work and our life’s purpose. Unfortunately, many of us allow that passion to be covered up. Lack of support from family and friends, taking a different route in life, or lack of belief that we can be successful often stop us from doing it. Sometimes, our passion has been covered up and unattended so long that we have to remember what it was (re-member, as in re-join or re-connect with it).

If only one knows where to head towards in life, the journey would have been shorter and enjoyable and in fact, perseverance or endurance would have been a small task. Those who know where they are going don’t waste time and are not confused, if focused, by anyone because they already know where they are going.

Recently I scared myself to think of the possibility that I might have cancer. I considered it daily for a week or more. I made it real for me. I would title my final epitaph to my family ‘Investigate the Faith.’
